Stacey Hall, LSCW

Stacey Hall is the founder and Clinical Director of Hall and Associates. She earned her master’s degree at the University of Kansas. Stacey has expertise through her specialized training in EMDR and ADAS Certified Addiction Counselor. Stacey has many strengths and honors including: Experience Coaching & Mentoring for Clinical Professionals EAP Contractor, Member of the Phi ThetaKappa National Honor Society, Member of the National Dean’s List, Graduated Summa Cum Laude-Park College, B.S. in Addiction Studies, Recipient of Ina Calkins Fellowship-University of Kansas, Former board member of TIPS Program ( Wyandotte County) Member of Emdria. Stacey is an enthusiast of person centered therapies which highlight the importance of empathy, collaboration and fostering a judgement free environment. Stacey has numerous years in the mental health community and her compassionate expertise is the foundation of Hall and Associates.

 

 

 

 

Sarah Hall, Care Coordinator

Sarah holds a Bachelors in Fine Arts, with a concentration in Design & Production. She is attending KU to earn a Masters in Social Work.
Sarah has worked with Hall & Associates DBA Community Treatment Services since 2008, and is dedicated to our mission of providing the highest level of services possible. She understands the needs of clients and referring agencies and works hard to meet and anticipate the special circumstances of every life she touches. Sarah is also the doggy mom of your group therapy dog Ryder.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anita Colvin, Care Coordinator

Anita is a Certified Hypnotherapist: specializing in creative visualization and meditation for stress reduction, goal setting, goal attainment and pain management. Anita brings over 35 years of diverse professionalism to our team; her experience in the medical field is clinical and as an instructor. Anita has worked extensively in patient advocacy providing consultations for individuals and families who were managing chronic or terminal illnesses. As a public speaker Anita has written and spoken on patient advocacy, patient rights, and grief management and worked with several grief support organizations including “Effort for Aids” and a brain tumor association in St. Louis, MO. Other accomplishments include having written and implemented NTSB mandated Trauma Response Plans, trained the teams while coordinating efforts between several major airlines and contract family assist organizations. In addition Anita taught an FAA required cockpit communications course to pilots and flight attendants. Anita has also provided professional consultations specializing on case management and medical documentation review for lawyers and has provided contract employee training for several national companies. Anita and her husband reside on a working farm, was instrumental in developing an association for a neglected cemetery and is the President of its board; she also co-teaches with her husband a senior’s exercise program (PEPI) for the Clay County Health Department. Anita brings her expertise in medical ethics, documentation and customer service to our organization.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christine Schmitt, LCP

Christine received her Master’s Degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University with an emphasis in Mental Health. She recently completed play therapy certification through Kansas City Play Therapy Institute and believes play therapy can be beneficial to children and the adult population as well. She has completed Level 1 EMDR training and will be participating in EMDR training for children in March of 2015 through Kansas City Play Therapy Institute. She has worked as an in-home therapist in the Kansas foster care system and has a passion for helping individuals rise up and succeed outside the devastating cycle of abuse and trauma. Christine believes if the effects of trauma can be healed in a child when they are young it can produce benefits for generations to come. Her approach to therapy always begins at person-centered and expands from there, depending on the individual. Christine incorporates play therapy and EMDR into an Internal Family Systems and trauma based approach. She works with all ages and cultural backgrounds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Denai Armer, LMSW

Denai is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She obtained her B.G.S. in Psychology from K.U. Her clinical experience ranges from working with at-risk youth involved with juvenile justice system, to those experiencing academic challenges due to intellectual and social impairments. I began home-based services in 2011, which inspired me to continue therapeutic services in a home- based setting, as she observed families to be more at ease in their own supported environments. She developed a passion for utilizing eclectic therapeutic techniques to best meet the goals of her clients. Denai has training that varies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Systems Therapy, to more specialized Training in various treatment modalities for those diagnosed with Personality Disorders. Denai enjoys Spending time with her Alaskan Malamute, painting at Pinot’s Palette and supporting KU basketball!!

 

 

 

 

 

Cassandra Wilson, LSW

Cassandra is a licensed master’s social worker.  She received her undergraduate degree in sociology from Mid-America Nazarene University.  She went on to receive her master’s degree from the University of Kansas.  Her training and experience include individual, family, and group therapy with children/adolescents as well as adults that have a wide range of therapeutic needs. Cassandra also has experience in a community mental health setting providing crisis intervention and case management services to children and youth suffering from SED.  Cassandra uses a wide range of approaches that include solution focused, strengths based, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jordan Hall, Care Coordinator

Jordan is a Care Coordinator and part of the administrative team. She maintains communicative operations with the entire practice. She is studying psychology and will go on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Jordan enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Morgan Greenough, LPC

Morgan is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated and passionate about helping others develop tools and skills to meet their mental health goals. She strives to be a helping hand through the healing process for individual and family counseling. Morgan’s areas of expertise are working with parent/child conflict, family dynamic issues, and adolescent and young adult socialization. She has also worked with clients who have dealt with Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, communication issues, family conflict, socioeconomic issues, PTSD, and trauma. Being able to address each individual’s unique needs is a key part of Morgan’s therapeutic process. She believes that each person is different and has an essential role in discovering what works best for them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Caleb Stephens, LMSW

Caleb is a LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) and a LAC (Licensed Addictions Counselor). He graduated from Bethel College, Kansas, in 2011, and graduated from the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare in 2014. Caleb worked in Child Welfare as a Reintegration Case Manager and then a Intensive In-Home Therapist, from 2011 through 2014. He is an activist for Social Justice, and specializes in Interpersonal Conflict, Identity, and the different issues of Race, Substance Abuse, Coping, and Hope; he implements those through his company called IdentiFight. Consequential to Caleb’s formerly noted foci he is competent in specialized work encompassing the Black Narrative. His emphasis centers around the understanding of Safety, Truth, and Hope. He utilizes various sources of strength and connection, to create safe spaces to empower authentic, intentional Truths. Caleb enjoys working out, writing, speaking on various issues, and pouring into the Lawrence and University of Kansas community. Oh, and he loves food.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Heather Roberts, LPC

Heather obtained her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2014. She is licensed as a professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Kansas, practicing in Douglas and nearby counties. Heather approaches therapy from an existential, client-centered philosophy, and utilizes eclectic techniques with her clients, selecting the therapeutic methods that will be the best fit for each individual. Her clients can expect elements of CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques to be incorporated into their personalized treatment plan. Heather works with a wide range of ages and mental health concerns, but her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, and trauma in older children and adults. She has experience working with children in the foster care system, in community mental health, and teaching psychology at the university level, and likes to incorporate psychoeducation into therapy. Heather believes that the most important element of creating change through therapy is the relationship built between client and therapist, and strives to create a safe and judgment free space for her clients. In her free time, Heather enjoys spending quality time with her animals and family, cooking, and being creative.

 

 

 

 

 

Wendy Hawkins, LMSW

Wendy currently holds a Master’s degree in social work obtained from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is professionally licensed within the state of Kansas and Missouri. Wendy’s personal mission statement is to “empower, educate and evolve self as well as those around her”. Wendy has experience with many populations but particularly enjoys working with adolescent girls and their families. Wendy utilizes an eclectic approach with her clients but primarily relies on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-focused Therapy and the strength based perspective to fulfill her mission. She believes each client is the master of their mental health journey and respects this process by allowing the client to be in control throughout the course of their evolution. Wendy is currently a trained EMDR therapist, assisting her clients with the reprocessing of traumatic events and enjoys mentoring and guiding social work students through their academic journey as a Field Instructor. She is passionate regarding personal empowerment of women and girls as well as the progression of cultural diversity and personal growth. Wendy enjoys riding her motorcycle, traveling and designing custom jewelry in her spare time.

 

 

 

 

 

Veronica Bauer, LMLP

Roni is a Licensed Masters Level Psychologist (LMLP) licensed in the State of Kansas through the BSRB. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in clinical psychology from Fort Hays State University located in Hays, Ks. Roni is EMDR trained and has completed Level one and two trainings at Avila University. She has completed EMDR-Sandtray protocol training with children and adolescents. She has completed other trauma based therapies such as Trauma Systems Therapy and Lifespan Integration. Roni has completed Parent Management Training, a parenting program geared toward learning and practicing positive parenting strategies. Roni is passionate about her work with clients and families and has experience with trauma, depression, anxiety, and attachment disorders. Roni has worked in community mental health and state hospital settings. She has most recently worked with children and families in foster care and has faith in the potential of healing and change for every individual. Although Roni enjoys working with her clients, she also enjoys downtime with her husband, 4 children, 3 dogs and 1 cat!

 

 

 

 

 

Mark Blakesle, LPC

Mark has worked in a number of settings in the areas of addictions, sexual abuse, grief, PTSD, depression, and children. The settings including inpatient substance/alcohol use, residential placement for children, in-home family treatment, as well as crisis. He graduated from Hastings Nebraska College in Psychology/English Magna Cum Laude with a BA. Attended Friends University in Family Therapy where he received a MS. He also completed the Substance Abuse coursework from DCCC in Dodge City. After completing the program was the sole instructor. He is a Certified Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, Clinical Additions Counselor, Kansas Certified Gambling Counselor level II and Clinical Marriage/Family Therapist. He has presented at conferences from Boston, Pasedena, Kansas City, Wichita, Topeka and all across the state to Foster Parents. In addition, he serves as an Educational Advocate as he has since 1997. He worked in retail management for seventeen years. Lastly, his great joy is to adorn his Santa suit every year since 1995 and bring the spirit of the season to everyone he meets.

 

 

 

 

 

Kathleen Cahill, LPC

Kathleen (Kat) Cahill received her Bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Kansas, and holds a Masters degree in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago.  Kat is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the states of Kansas and Illinois, and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri. Kat has extensive experience working with adolescents as well as families in the individual, group, family, and residential setting.  Kat believes in approaching each client individually and tailors treatment to meet the client and family where they are from the day of the first session and as they make progress toward their goals. Kat uses a combination of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, solutions-focused therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and the Attachment Regulation Competency (ARC) framework of trauma treatment.  Kat was extensively trained in this modality by the director of the Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute in Boston, MA. Kat also has extensive training in DBT and SMART (Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment) therapy. Kat is passionate about her work with clients and their families and takes a strengths-based approach with each case.  Kat believes it is essential to form positive connections and a trusting relationship with each client. In her downtime Kat enjoys swimming, hiking, reading, traveling, cheering on the Jayhawks, and spending time with her family and friends.

 

 

 

 

 

Jeremy Corbeille, LMSW

Jeremy is a graduate of Washburn University where he earned a Master’s degree in Social Work. He also studied psychology at Kansas State University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree. Jeremy has experience providing individual and group therapy for children, adolescents and adults in a psychiatric inpatient setting. Jeremy has also worked in community mental health settings providing crisis assessment and therapy to individuals who are at high risk of hospitalization due to a variety of risk factors. Jeremy has a passion for working with individuals who have a history of trauma, substance abuse, and severe mental health challenges. He often utilizes therapy interventions that capitalize on the client’s strengths and help the individual to empower themselves. Jeremy uses a combination of therapeutic approaches with include solution focused, person centered, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. He believes that the most important factor in therapy is building a positive therapeutic relationship where clients can build trust and learn to develop healthy boundaries with others.

Tammy D. Murillo, LMSW

Tammy D. Murillo is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. Tammy has the innate ability to develop a strong professional rapport with clients. Tammy has experience working as an In-Home Family Therapist for Saint Francis, Family Preservation Program, as a Mental Health Specialist for KCSL Head Start/Early Head Start Program, as a Children’s Case Manager and JJA Liaison for Compass Behavioral Health, as a Special Education Vocational Professional and as a Program Director with the AmeriCorps program. She has worked with children with disabilities, families, adolescents, adults, and preschool children. She utilizes Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Multi-Systemic approaches. Tammy’s trainings include but are not limited to Sand Tray Therapy, Human and Sex Trafficking, Grief and Loss, Trauma Informed Care, Challenging Behaviors in Children, Adverse Childhood Experiences and Batterers Intervention Program. Andy Dillingham, LCP

Andy is a graduate of Washburn University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. In addition, he attended Oklahoma State University where he majored in psychology and minored in sociology. Andy holds licensing through the BSRB of Kansas as a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist (LCP). Andy’s experience includes working in rural community mental health settings through the Southeast Kansas Mental Health Center. Since 2011, he has provided individual, family, and couples psychotherapy services to a wide array of populations including children and adults. Andy has worked with individuals of diverse backgrounds who experienced a variety of mental health concerns. He is skilled at providing support and care to individuals grieving significant loss, coping with trauma, managing anxiety, and youth behavioral difficulties. Andy enacts a person-centered approach to provide a supportive environment while incorporating cognitive behavioral skills. During free time, Andy enjoys time with friends and family, traveling, flying, and sporting activities.

 

 

 

 

 

Emily Kravit, LMSW

Emily Kravit earned a Master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is professionally licensed within the state of Kansas. Emily selects therapeutic methods to suite the needs of the individuals, couples, and families she serves. She has an eclectic approach with her clients but primarily relies on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems and Psychotherapy. Emily also has extensive training in Motivational Interviewing and Crisis Intervention Counseling. Emily believes that positive change evolves from a positive therapeutic relationship and that the client should be in control of the therapeutic process. Whether meeting them at home, in the office, or out in the community, Emily works to create a safe therapeutic space for her clients. In her free time, Emily enjoys painting, pottery, swinging on porch swings, and spending quality time with her friends and family.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dana Lykins, LSCSW

Dana received her Master’s in Social Work and is licensed at the clinical level (LSCSW). She has experience in child welfare, providing individual/family therapy, and conducting mental health assessments at an adult psychiatric hospital. Dana believes that there is not a “one size fits all” approach to therapy; everyone is unique in culture and life experiences and therefore needs to begin services at a level of which they are most comfortable with. Empathy, engagement, support, and psycho-education are used to guide each individual through treatment and help their desired life goals be met. In her spare time, she enjoys a good Netflix binge, pizza, and has a cat named Pip!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chelsea Link, LMFT

Chelsea is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas and her master’s degree from Kansas State University. Chelsea has been providing in-home family therapy and crisis services to families and individuals in eastern Kansas for almost 4 years. Chelsea’ therapeutic approach is strongly solution focused and positive. She utilizes several modalities such as Mindfulness, Solution Focused, and Narrative approaches among others. She believes one of the most important aspects within therapy is the therapeutic relationship between a therapist and client; therefore Chelsea strives to make the therapy process one of teamwork. Chelsea is thankful for all her clients who allow her to walk next to them through some of their struggles as well as their celebrations in life. Megan Heidrich, LCSW

Megan received her master’s degree from the School of Social Welfare at the University of Kansas in 2014. Megan is currently working on her Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker credential. Megan has experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She utilizes an eclectic approach pulling from different modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Motivational Interviewing. Megan works from a strengths perspective and believes an individualized approach to support clients is critical to each unique journey. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, kayaking, and going on long walks with her dog.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hannah Benger, LMSW

Hannah is a licensed Master’s level psychologist. She received undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas and her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Saint Mary. Her training and experience includes individual, family and group therapies for children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of therapeutic needs. Hannah uses a combination of therapeutic approaches which include solution focused, strengths based, trauma focused and cognitive-behavioral therapy. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her friends and family and traveling.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cynthia Fecchia, LMSW

Cynthia is a LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) licensed to practice in the state of Kansas.  Cynthia obtained her bachelors degree in 2008 where she studied psychology and applied behavior analysis.  She went on to work one on one with kids with autism in developing social and emotional skills as well as academic skills as needed.  She obtained her master’s degree from The University of Kansas in 2014 and has worked in foster care, juvenile justice, and as a crisis clinician as well as with the police departments to ensure safe resolutions to mental health crisis.  She is an active volunteer with the Shawnee County Medical Reserve Corps, which assists in preparing the community for natural and man made disasters.  Cynthia utilizes aspects of Brief Solution Focused Therapy, strengths perspective and mindfulness practices in her therapy. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, yoga, meditation, camping and hiking with her dog Opie.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chelsea Farmer, LMSW

Chelsea earned a Master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri- Kansas City and is professionally licensed within the state of Kansas. Chelsea specializes in therapeutic approaches that suite the needs of the individuals, young adults, and families she serves.  Chelsea’s approach with her clients focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Strength Perspective and Psychotherapy. Chelsea is currently learning and has training in how to apply play therapy to her approach when working with her clients. Chelsea has a background experience in working with the SED (Severally Emotionally Disturb) children and has work with very complex family backgrounds. Chelsea believes that positive outcomes come from building a positive therapeutic relationship with her clients and that her clients have the ability to control the therapeutic process. Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as painting, running during her free time.

 

Kimberly Marcos, LMSW

Kimberly is a graduate of Avila, and UMKC, with a Master’s Degree in Social work. Kimberly has worked and volunteered in various settings as a social worker and a therapist; including hospice, domestic violence, schools, and in-home individual therapy. Kimberly has a great passion to work with clients in need, and help them along their personal journey. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play therapy techniques, Person Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Kimberly’s varied background includes treating those affected with depression, anxiety, and trauma/grief, among others. Kimberly also has worked with those with Intellectual disabilities and Physical disabilities, and has spent much time working within the High Functioning Autism community. She will be attaining her Clinical License in 2017. In her downtime, she enjoys traveling to beaches with her husband, and spending time with her 2 grown children, twin grandkids, as well as her dogs and cats!

 

 

Joseph Ruiz Pagan, MS, LMFT

Joseph Is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Currently licensed in the state of Kansas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology in Arizona at the University Of Phoenix. Joseph earned his Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy here in Kansas at Friends University. A writer by the name of Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe said “treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them become what they are capable of being”. As a licensed marriage and family therapist Joseph has a passion to help clients see and reach what they’re capable of being. He does this by taking a one down position, using postmodern treatment platforms such as Narrative Therapy, Collaborative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy as well as some modern approaches such as Structural Family Therapy and CBT. Joseph approaches therapy from a non-judging, non-pathologizing stance. Joseph knows that power and privilege exist in today’s society. Therefore, all people, from all national origins, race, age, sex, sexual orientation, socio economic status, religion, ethnicity, education, and disability are welcome with open arms.
